Joe Vicari, founder and CEO, bought his first restaurant that
would begin the Andiamo Restaurant Group in January 1990, when he
purchased Lido on the Lake in St. Clair Shores. Since then, he has
opened fourteen additional restaurants in the metro Detroit area.
Joe says the key to his success is, 'having good sound principles
in place, treating people fairly so employees stay with him a long
time and giving or selling a percentage of each restaurant to his
